These photos give you an impression of how to manage your cables in such a way that the mount won't tangle or even worse snap cables while tracking, slewing or flipping the meridian.

Fixed powercables transformers in basket and pier. Power cable for the camera strapped to leg on the right. Later the main poweradapter was strapped to one of the tripod legs by use of tie wraps for even better handling.

Velcro and straps. The strap is rubber and can't slide down the pier.

Grab for quick setup. The tag "Remove Before Flight" is to remind me that the transport safety screws are in place to secure the main mirror. The case is a PeliCase 1637 with self cut foam. Not cheap but this can take airport handling I think.
