Operational problems

You can run into the weirdest things while out there with your telescope. On this page I will describe some things I ran into.

Sudden loss of guide star and not able to do the live stacking.

All was running smoothly and I was occupied with filemanagement on my system when my eye caught a weird notification on my iPad running the ASIair app. The guide star was lost and the guiding graph was going for an olympic record in jumping. Then the live stack was refused. I hit the guide graph and my screen turned white with only two brighter spots which could be brighter stars. I was like: WTF is going wrong this time....
So I went to my frontgarden where the rig was set up, looked around and... up... clouds... full deck out of nowhere... I obviously lost some images to the clouds coming in but when I did a full stacking in the ASIair the process recognized them and left them out of the process, luckily just 3.
